Carolyn's inspiration is found in the beauty of fields filled with wildflower dancing in the breeze, trees clothed with the beauty of blossoms and clouds touched by contrasts of light and shadow that are filled with color. It is those places where the landscape is dotted with farm animals that fill her with the wonder of the beauty of what what God has created. The historic barns and cottages in the landscape and gardens inspire her to capture o canvas what has stopped her in her tracks and she knows she just has to paint that. It is what she is able to see through the eyes of an artist.
